I find it hard to work out what are spaces on the test track.

Primarly taking the 2 player track, are there 4 spaces to each chequered flag?

1. Start/Chequered
2. Blank Space
3. Black Space
4. End/Chequered

Its not clear (to me) that the chequered part are counted as spaces? Probably obviously are!

Yes. Checkered spaces are counted and these spaces when reached trigger a meeting at the end of the current round.

If I could please revive this thread, can I get some further clarity on this? Namely...

(I can't find a picture of the 2-player tile and my game is at home...)

So in this image of the 3-player tile, does the pace car have 4 (two straightaways and 2 corners) or 8 (3 per straightaway, 2 corners) spaces upon-which to land?...

(And I'd like to end this post by saying - Long Live Paint...)

In the picture shown there are 8 spaces. 2 finish/start spaces, 4 other straight spaces and 2 curve spaces.

Awesome - thank you. That's how I understood it, but I just wanted to confirm.

If I can recall from memory, I believe the two-player board insert has a total of 6 spaces.
