Hello,

We just launched our first Kickstarter campaign devoted to the political board game including 3D printed game pieces. “Political Domination” - an exclusive role-playing board game for anyone who wants to take part in an election process.

[ImageID=Political Domination]

You can set up your own presidential race from 2 up to 6 players. Regardless of the amount of candidates, it is possible to have both a 15-minute quick match or an hours-long battle for political domination.
The game is designed to entertain, as well as educate people on some of the unknowns or not so well known aspects of the election. After the game is over, you will get a clue of how politics really works. After the kickstarter campaign will be over, we plan to prepare some outstanding art for the design.

Check out!

Wow. Uncontrollable outcome squares: "the player has no control over what happens when landing on these squares."

"How Debates are Held? - Each player rolls the dice. The one that has a higher roll gets 5 Rating points. The loser loses 5 Rating points."

I don't mean to be negative, but this seems like a lot of rolling and moving to see what happens. Could you expand a little on whether the game has controllable strategic elements? Or is it just meant to be a lighthearted party game?

Thanks!

I have to go with the creators really don't know anything about modern game design and just did this as a lark for political friends who might find it funny.

Since there are no pledges so far, they apparently have a sophisticated sense of frugality.

As you have noticed, all of our game pieces resemble famous politicians. For our game it is not necessary to use exactly those, you can use game pieces of your choice. Nevertheless, to make the play more fun and interactive, we recommend having the game pieces 3D printed. Please note any resemblance is accidental.

Emphasis mine. Those two statements seem contradictory.

For the OP, what the boardgame community would be interested would be custom made figures/pieces, as it seems you might be the owner of a 3D printing service, this may be more inline with what this community could get behind.

cheers

"This game is still in the developmental stages: we are testing it with friends and relatives. We are editing the rules and fields, adding some new ones and also sometimes deleting some things altogether. Nevertheless, we are ready to share the main ideas of the game" ..

No .. no it's not ready to share, let alone ask people to buy into, sorry.

Announced the day before the election, for production and shipping long after the dust has settled. Way to strike while the iron is being quenched!
