Does it ever end?

"As secretary of state, Hillary Clinton routinely asked her maid to print out sensitive government emails and documents — including ones containing classified information — from her house in Washington, DC, emails and FBI memos show. But the housekeeper lacked the security clearance to handle such material.

Clinton would first receive highly sensitive emails from top aides at the State Department and then request that they, in turn, forward the messages and any attached documents to Santos to print out for her at the home.

Santos also had access to a highly secure room called an SCIF (sensitive compartmented information facility) that diplomatic security agents set up at Whitehaven, according to FBI notes from an interview with Abedin.

From within the SCIF, Santos — who had no clearance — “collected documents from the secure facsimile machine for Clinton,” the FBI notes revealed."

This is beyond ridiculous. Not only did Clinton have her (uncleared) maid print out classified emails so that she could read them when she got home, she had aides forward those emails to her maid and allowed the (uncleared) maid access to the most secure of areas in the world of classified information.

Oh, but wait. Let's laugh about Trump's aides taking away his Twitter access. That's today's real news.

What, you missed the part about how the maid had access to the Top Secret Presidential Daily Briefing?

Story.

The main point of this of course (in the Post, not here) is to get the word "maid" out there. To emphasise that Clinton is one of "them" unlike the billionaire (he claims) Trump.

ah bollocks the maid may well have had top secret clearence, it's a phrase that can mean everything and nothing.

I know some of the analysis reports I compiled I didn't latter have the clearence to read.*

Also you can get oddiities where someone stupidly stamped a daily newspaper with a security stamp for a laugh and it became a nightmare to dispose of because none of us had clearence to shred such a document.

* Edit and I wasn't working on anything really sensative just stuff that wasnt ready for public disemination.

Yup. I sure am.

The New York Post is not known for their fact checking or adherence to high journalistic standards. Even if a wide variety of news aggregators elected to offer links to it, I still find the original source to be laughably untrustworthy, therefore I dismiss it until a trustworthy source verifies.

For the record, RCP also posts shit from Vox and Kos, which are also not trustworthy sources.

The two emails the story cites as being classified, were done so retroactively and weren't authored by Clinton nor did Clinton direct them to be printed, the sender did. The one email Clinton did request be printed was not classified. Seems like a non-story to me.

If it was, is it then a story? And would you call this mishandling of classified materials criminal? Would you advocate for her receiving the same treatment as a member of the citizen class who likewise mishandled classified material?

Should she be allowed to become President?

Or do you really not care?

I'm guessing that for you it's that last one. Criminal behavior is okay for Democrats, right?

Once again you miss the point. I don't like either of them but the republicians insist on squandering all their powder on refighting old battles. All those man hours spent on trying to prove these and other allegations from twenty years no doubt with keener eyes and minds than mine that produce NOTHING concrete.

Give it a rest and give me a a reason to listen by telling me something about what you will do and not just crying wolf and saying Because shes a criminal.

Anybody who lives in the real world knows there are crooks in all walks of life - hence there will be crooks in both parties.

However you have to produce actionable evidence and convict them instead of just yelling criminal. Now unless you are telling me the FBI is covering up for her to and can produce evidence to support that fact . I can only go with the reasons they have given that they do not believe they have a strong enough case to gain a conviction. Make a better case - you know with real facts and tanigible evidence!

The job of goverrnemnt is to govern not just fuck around with personal vendettas.

Kos can be unreliable, but has Vox been also? They have a pretty wonky spin on things and most of their writers (especially on healthcare) are pretty good.

Wait . . . I thought you liked Hillary.

No according to your fellow wing nuts Hilaries presidential role is to line her own pockets - your candiate is the one who is to engage in Vendettas and personal insults.

Sides as I frequently say Im European both of them are not socialist enough for me. In the sense the role of governemnt is to look after it's citizens welfare whilst th emeans\implementation is open to discussion.

However from you posts I suspect you have moved from believing supporting something to the point where your position is defined as only anti Hilary.

I heard this on the radio... oh wait, that was on a far right 2 AM talk show. They made a point of naming the maid -- she's rich and she has a Latina maid, yep.

Who knows, might be true. I heard on NPR that HC doesn't know how to use a desktop computer. She would get up and leave her desk to check her email on her phone, as she couldn't have an unsecured phone in her office. Fun stuff.

I find the fact that people consistently defender her and her actions as "no big deal", when it is quite evident that she isn't actually very smart. Just lazy.
