Much quieter week. Agricola seems to have turned back Scythe for this week. Next week, who knows?

Have a good week.

Two games up, two games down for me. This is what happens when you exit cult of the new.

cry

The Terraforming Mars reprint is coming in January? No places with it in stock that I know of in the UK.

I had a chance to pick this up where I am but didn't pull the trigger at the time because I hadn't looked deeper at it enough. Now I have decided I want it and as you can imagine it is sold out everywhere. If your right about January that would be great. I'm ok with waiting but watching it climb the charts so fast does make me want to try it even more.

If they don't reprint Terraforming Mars, it would be a shame. More people should get to play it.

I am wondering if Inis is going to eclipse games like Kemet, since it's in that style and getting a lot of good press.

Weird to see it below Puerto Rico so many years after it ousted PR from the #1 slot, to be honest...

It might be different if Uwe didn't keep trying to make similar themed games. There's nothing really competing against PR.

Finally, a long struggle came to a conclusion. It started months ago. One contestant was the obvious choice: a long, solid track record. Loved by many, but often despised as well. Mostly due to some nasty traits that some cared about more than others.
On the other side a newcomer. 'Unfocused' they said, 'Style over substance' they said. What does this contestant REALLY bring to the table? Many were wooed by flashy promises that may or may not be fulfilled.
Today's news will be dominated by this pivotal event.
Scythe beat Agricola.

As I haven't played Scythe yet, the above is purely meant to be humorous. Any resemblance to other events, past or (very) present is purely coincidental.
