Hi geek fellas, I am looking for a boardgame that is dynamic, this means that turns are fast paced and very little to no downtime.
It has to be a competitive game, I am open to anything: Euros, ameritrash, point salads, conflict driven games, etc.
For reference: I am not looking for a filler.

Please make your suggestions!

Scythe? Not a lot of downtime there.

Captain Sonar, 7 Wonders, and Mission: Red Planet (Second Edition) jumped out to me. I'm sure there are better options, but these were the first three that came to mind. Usually the games that I think are very dynamic are slower paced, thinky games, so take my recommendations with a grain of salt.

Also, Arcadia Quest is a good recommendation.

Steampunk Rally

Players execute each phase simultaneously, so there's no downtime*.

*Main exception being if someone has AP and everyone has to wait for them in order to proceed to the next phase.

I'll second the suggestion for Raptor, and add one for Claustrophobia.

Maybe 4 Gods might be up your alley. It's real-time Carcassonne essentially.

I almost spit my drink out when I read this. Then I realized I really did only play this once with an AP player. Yeah, there was a LOT of downtown for us. Played at a convention and had someone a couple times walk by and go "you guys are still on that same game? Didn't you start 2 hours ago?"

Medieval Academy is a good choice, everyone drafts and then chooses their card, not a lot of downtime.
Abyss plays pretty quickly, not a lot of choices, but each choice is important.
Colt Express is fairly quick as well.

Rune Age
Simple rules.
You are attacking during your turn and being attacked in other players's turn.
You should keep an eye on what others are doing.
Turns are not long and the game is not too complicated, so you can actually do that...

Race for the Galaxy
Simultaneous turns.
You should watch what others are trying to achieve. The game is complex enough that for the first games you would not manage that.

HTH...

Race is a great game. Also consider Roll for the Galaxy.
