i hear world of diablo is right around the corner, in blizard terms i'm guess that means early 2011.

While you are waiting for the next Diablo installment, I highly recommend Titan Quest and its expansion (which is essential as LoD is to D2), which can be bought for a combined price of $50 or less (no monthly fees). Scratches the same itch, and has some cooler stuff similar to things I liked in Guild Wars and Dungeon Siege. Most folks say that its the best D2-like game since D2.

And, yes, it does have wolves.

Dave If you ever find this game in the $10 bargain bin, Id highly recommend this for you. Its diablo 2 with so many more options.

i have a copy of this, complete with box, manual, quick guide etc.

I checked ebay, and it seems fairly rare going for about $20 or more, if any bggers want to trade with me(especially for a board game, i would be willing!) just send me a PM.

cheers.

I concur... I just finished Titan Quest and had a lot of fun playing it. At times, it's shameless how much they borrowed from D2, but it's also original enough to feel fresh.

Unfortunately, the expansion is in dire need of a patch, but I do agree that it adds quite a lot of value to the game.

I have eaten some Netrunner counters, a treasure token from Nemo's War, and a First Martians condition token. Also maybe a Fallout "L" token.

Well I bought Titan Quest today, largely due to recommendations in this thread.

It won't run on my computer. It doesn't like the graphics card.

I guess I should have looked at the requirements first. And since the only upgrade this computer is going to get is when it gets upgraded to a Mac, well, so much for Titan Quest. It does look pretty cool on the box, though!

Yeesh. That's too bad -- I bought it for $20 at Target based on that recommendation, and it's pretty good. I particularly like the whole classic mythology theme.

I'm stuck on the last boss on Epic difficulty, though, with the Vitality-sapping bolts.
