So last February I pledged for the Evolution: Climate Kickstarter. A month later my wife and I found out that we were expecting our first child

This last Friday the game finally started to trickle in to backers in the states. That same day my wife came home from her doctor's appointment and said that the baby had dropped into position for delivery and that it could arrive any day now and not to travel farther than 30 min from the hospital.

So far the game has still not reached most of the backers in the western US (Idaho here) and the baby is still stalling out.

To everyone here: Which delivery do you think will arrive first?

Fun fact: the baby's name, Emily Catherine Brogdon, will have the same initials as Evolution: Climate Boardgame. Total coincidence whistle

At the minute you manage to sit down for a few peaceful moments to begin unwrapping the game... that's when the baby will come. Thus preparing you for the next 6 months!

Congrats and enjoy!

I am going to bet game, but I usually bet game, that might be more an issue with me, and less a solid take on reality.

Also game. I'm in Oregon and my copy arrived yesterday.

Edit: Didn't you get a tracking number? When does it say the game will arrive? Although the USPS tracking # Nift gave me was total garbage, Nift's ETA was correct.

You'll get your game in 36 hours.
You'll get your baby in 136 hours.

Let's use the Wits & Wagers betting rules. The closest without going over wins!

The doctor didn't sent you a delivery notification email yet?

I'll go like some here, you'll get the baby first, in 41.5h if my calculations are correct, you'll be eager to open up the box that Friday evening and finally have some fun with your game, and then, the baby will be knocking at the door, that same Friday night, and delivery will be thus in 65.5h from now. In the end, you'll have spent all the week-end at the hospital, and you will still have not played your game!

Dom, do I get a better reward if my super precise guess is exact?

I'm thinking that the winner should get a limited edition Fertile Trait card with alternate art!

Ew.

Although I think our favorite water color artist (Catherine ___? was it?) could even bring beauty to the delivery room.

I bet it's getting tense now...

Which is your wife betting on? I'm pretty sure I know which she'd prefer (I remember being *that* far pregnant and wanting nothing more than to have it OUT!)...

Good luck with your little girl. I bet you can't wait to teach her to play games!!
