It is over three years now since Liz took the money for this Kickstarter. While GTEs are arriving in dribs and drabs, the 37 backers who collectively paid well over $4,000 for their Collectes Editions are still waiting, with no idea when their reward will arrive.

Liz last updated over six months ago, revealing that the special wooden boxes had not even been started (at that point it was around THIRTY MONTHS since the project was funded), and swore she was working on it.

Six months on, Liz has disappeared from the Kickstarter page (though she still regularly logs in, she doesn't bother to post to give updates). She has seemingly run from BGG, and ensures that any negative comments are deleted from the game's Facebook page.

The question is, at what point does it become theft? $4,000 is a lot of cash for someone to pocket without providing anything in return, and then going incommunicado for months at a time.

Perhaps the saddest thing is that Lone Shark games seem to feel that none of this reflects on them, with Mike Selinker sticking to the "what our employees do in private is not our concern". I disagree Mike - you have an employee who took money for a game and has now seemingly run off with the cash. For you to continue to happily employ someone who would do that says a lot about the morality of your company, and what they judge to be acceptable behaviour.
