Here is a short English summary:

Habitats reminds us of Glen More in a good way. It is all (well, 90 %) about placing your Wild Animal Park tiles so that you can maximize your points. Central tile market offers an additional level of tactics, when all players compete to get the best tiles for their individual parks.

There are 68 different animal tiles available, and each requires a certain habitat to yield player any points. For example Impala lives on a forest tile, but requires 3 savannah-tiles as orthogonal neighbours to give you points. Its a really fun puzzle trying to score as many animals as possible. Tourist-tiles and certain common special goals for extra points per round make this a real brain burner. Trying to get points for extra goals can actually hurt you chances in winning, so you have to know when to pursue them.

Ceramic animals included in kickstarter version are cool. Tile art divided our opinions. I did not care the style too much, but my better half enjoyed the realistic look in them.

Habitats gives a plenty interesting choices in a relatively short time. Its easy to learn (and teach) and the subject matter is fresh enough even if there are loads of tile laying games out there. We can easily recommend Habitats, its worth trying out. You might like it as much as we do.
