I do miss the possibility to play a shorter game, something like the demo rules in WarCry - is there something like that in WH40K ccg? And, if not, do you have any idea?

1st. Quite a fine game, but it takes an hour or so to play.

2nd edition made it so you fight over three sectors instead of five. You could always try that.

Given the immense tactical nuance in a typical match of WH40KCCG I don't mind it taking an hour. There are plenty of fine 2P CCGs if all I want is a 15-minute throwdown.

I guess this game can't be simplified any more than that without a harm to its charm. Thank you for a solution

From what I've read, apparently even though there are only three sectors, the game still takes just as long because the required number of flags for each sector no ranges from 3 to 7 instead of 2 to 5. Of course, if your just playing a game of the 1st edition it doesn't matter, as you'll be using the older sector cards.
