For the sake of argument lets just say no one likes roll & move games and that this question is purely hypothetical you would never allow this to happen in real life.....BUT, if it did, what would you be willing to play that the main mechanic is roll & move?

Talisman (Revised 4th Edition) (not really a fair answer sine I LOVE Talisman, lol)

Merchant of Venus or Xia: Legends of a Drift System would be my choices.

Yep, Merchant of Venus for me.

Formula D is OK, but can get very frustrating.

Talisman is Frustrating all the damn time.

I choose Jamaica - it uses roll-and-move but gives players agency over the way they use the results.

The pyramid game Looney Ludo, formerly known as Martian Coasters.

It's fast-paced and fun, and since you already have the pyramids out you can follow up with something else light (like CrackeD ICE) or something heavier (like Zendo).

+1 for Formula D and it works well even with young children (if you drop a few rules). My 4-year-old really likes it and I quite enjoy it, although I'm itching to get to the full rules when I think it will be much improved for me.

Jamaica would be my personal choice.

I love playing Merchant of Venus, and could easily be talked into playing Titan or Fast Food Franchise again.

I recently received my Kickstarter copy of Ravingspire and it's a lot of fun. Not only is it roll and move, but it's also roll and shift the board position. Lots of fun.

Formula D or Powerboats for me.

Both excellent roll and move race games.

I forgot that is a roll and move game.

Yes a good game, but do not add the expansions.

Backgammon is my top choice.

But the Kookaburra Game is fun with the kids.

Each player gets a set of four Australian animals and they each have different powers.
