So, the Captain Terro Pack also comes with a deployment card for a non-unique version of the figure (Dewback Rider) with mostly the same stats.

Few questions about this figure pack:

1) Do both versions (Terro & Dewback Rider) seem a little OP for the costs? 5 points for the Dewback, with 3x dice attack, 9 health, and the ability to move, attack, and use a special damage-causing action (not an attack) all on the same activation? Or 7 points for the Terro (unique) version with 13 health and an even better special action and same free movement bonus?

2) Does this give a benefit of buying two packs, so you can field both the Dewback Rider AND Captain Terro in the same mission?

Compare to the elite Probe Droid. The extra movement points have use because large figures cannot use diagonals and the Dewback Rider doesn't have mobile (but not having Massive is neutral).

It's still only one figure and requires good planning to be able to use both actions for offense. And buffed-up heroes still need only 2 attacks to defeat the poor Dewback.

I really appreciate something a little different for the imperial side, and I can't wait to get to play the Dewback Rider.

(Might be the first pack I'm possibly going to buy two of.)

Incidentally, this isn't the first pack with the mechanic. The General Weiss Villain Pack can also be used as a second AT-ST if you want.

It's a huge step up over the easy comparison of the regular wampa. Both are large creatures with a black die and have the same costs and health. The similarity ends there though. The wampa may get extra movement, but the dewback always does. Their damage is about the same, though slightly better for the wampa as it doesn't rely on pierce. However, the dewback is ranged, which makes it so much easier to use being a large figure. The shock lance and trooper keywords are just icing on the cake. Not having a habitat helps too.

Captain Terro is even better in comparison to the elite wampa, but as he is unique, that makes sense.

[Edit] Nefarious gains is sick against Imperial Trooper skirmish lists...or Rebel Trooper for that matter!
