Subject: Purpose of red and grey sides of character cards? rss

So the eight character cards with each race's unique ability have a creature with red background on one side and another creature with a grey background on the other side...

For what purpose???

Same goes for the character chips. Sand on one side and red on the back. Why? I didn't seem to encounter any usage for this anywhere.

I think it is so two people can play the same race and keep them identifiable individually.
