Does anyone else back kickstarters because the minis would go great in Myth?
Looking over my last kickstarters I realized that was what I was doing.
Dark Souls™ - The Board Game
Perdition's Mouth: Abyssal Rift - a Horror-Fantasy Co-op
Stone Skull's 28mm Tabletop Gaming Miniature Furniture (because the barrels, crates, and pillars will go great on my Myth tiles.
Mini painting in general
Miniature Holders & Grips for painting and sculpting
Arsies' Painting Toolbox; A miniature painting monograph.
The other thing I need to do is setup a multi-camera setup so I can play over the net. My brother and I play using facetime, but ideally I would like to have 3 cameras.
1- on the tiles/darkness board
1- on my player board/s
1- on myself
Just some ramblings this morning in case other folks have some suggestions (especially with the camera solution!) or want to share their Myth augmentation story
Don't tempt me. Don't.
So far, I've been content with taking silly pictures of Myth minis with more or less random objects. Like a miniature birthday cake.
But I have been looking at cheap lots of minis, thinking about how I could use them. And I don't even paint.
One of the most impressive augmentation stories I've seen is SHYdesign's MYTH painting and crafting blog, but judging from the comments there you are familiar with that one already.
Thanks for that!
SHy's stuff is amazing. That well/statue thing ... sick
Nope. No problem. You are playing this game as it was meant to be played! Congrats
Act Three! Everybody Dies!
Oh, the giant angel statue from This War of Mine: The Board Game? Yeah, that's a terrible* boss monster if I ever saw one.
*terrible as in "Giving terror" not as in awful.**
**awful as in "bad" not in "Giving awe."
