The rules for the game state that the tiebreaker is "the player with the highest individual marker". One player had a full Duke (10 points), another had a half King (8 points). In this case, the King obviously outranks the Duke, but the full Duke is worth more points. Which is "the highest individual marker" - the ranking or the points?

The 10 marker is a higher marker than the 8.
