Anyone know how soloable this one might be? I understand it has rules for dragon bots, and I wondered if they might be the key to solo.

I haven't done a ton of research but this has been on my wishlist a while and if anyone thinks it'd work solo that could very well nudge me into buying.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, there are no official solo rules for the game.
It may be possible to play a solo game using/tweaking the co-op variant at the back of the rule book. I would suggest controlling 2 dragons with one set of cards (like in the 2 player variant file found here at BGG) and having 2 rogue dragons as blockers (as in the original 2 player rules)...
But none of this has been play tested to verify if it would actually work or be an enjoyable solo variation...

The optional co-op game where you are attempting to totally destroy the Old World (and then measure your success with the chart given in the rules), would work quite well as a solo game I think, particularly using 2 Dragons and 2 Dragon blockers. Haven't tried it solo myself, but I can verify that it certainly works nicely as a 2 player co-op variation, and I see no reason why it wouldn't be just as fun solo.
