The full report will follow tomorrow - but tonight I had a solo game of Arkham Horror + Dunwich Horror that lasted 55 turns!

The variant rule I used to make the game playable was to ignore Dunwich. Any text that opened a gate or placed clues in Dunwich was ignored, nor could I move to Dunwich; however all other rules applied. This gave a few nice "breather" turns when a gate otherwise would have opened.

During the game, I *sealed* six gates, only to have three pop open at various times due to Gate Bursts.

I failed both Riots and The Great Ritual, but still managed to win the game by closing *all* gates, thanks to Walking the Ley Lines. At the end of the game, there were 3 sealed gates, I had 3 gate trophies, two injuries and one madness card.

Mandy Thompson defeated Cthulhu! Yay!

Cheers,
Merric

Somewhere between 60-90 minutes, I think; I had to stop for dinner in the middle, so my count is somewhat out.

Cheers,
Merric
