Has anyone played this with two or can comment on the two player version.

I really want to back it but want to know more about the two player experience.

I've played it with all counts and found that they all work very well. In the two player game you eliminate one row from downtown Lisboa to tighten up the interaction.

You also put neutral officials at the court to make it more difficult/expensive to influence the king/prime minister/master architect.
