Spoiler (click to reveal)
For the Event Card Restless Bones, is there any way to add defense (like by being in home port/being supported by another ship)? Or is it really just a simple: roll six dice, apply damage for each success above the hold value?

No, it hasn't. The question that keeps getting asked is how to count spaces to determine who it hits. I did a search. I did find that response in that thread, but was hoping for more confirmation than the two competing opinions in that thread.

Again, not the same question. And the thread you linked is one person saying one thing and you contradicting it. So not exactly what I would call conclusive.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. But I want something concrete to show my group because some of them felt like it was a really harsh thing to come up when it's so hard to avoid (on our map).
