Just curious, what is your preference when you chose the shape of your boards? Why (or why not) did you go with that shape?

I usually rest my wrist on top of the ditch when I setup a shot ... a round board makes that a consistent shot from anywhere in my quadrant.

So ... definitely round board.

I also think that it looks better

Agreed. All tournament boards are round as well so if you have any aspirations of competing, round would be the way to go.

Mine is so heavy I have to roll it if I'm traveling more than a mile, so definitely round.

Just kidding, but yeah, round, for the wrist thing.

Round is also nice for sending pieces back around after a match is completed.

Oh! Great point. I honestly thought my choice of round was mostly aesthetic, but you're right. You gotta be able to fling disks around the gutter... sometimes even just for fun.
