There was some talk on one of the threads about issues with scoring. I don't like the pts idea in this game, it doesn't seem to work with these types of party games. Among other issues, you can get to a situation where several players are on the verge of winning, so they are on different teams to it becomes inevitable that someone will win. And there are kingmaker issues involved with that situation too.

How about this: the first player to win as: a neutral, a rebel and loyalist wins the game. Of course you can still have multiple winners in such a situation but that may actually be kind of interesting.

But the basic idea is that someone can be ahead of you with two wins, but if they just keep winning as a loyalist, they make no progress. More chances for people to catch up, because each game does not necessarily put someone closer to victory.

I think this might be very interesting. What do you think?

PS You can even make it where like, you have to win in each role. Or say you have to win in 4 out of the 5 roles: guard, sultan, assassin, slave, neutral. Similar idea to the above just makes for a longer game.
