Diseases are played immediately when drawn. What if there's a disease in the opening hand that a player has been dealt? Do you hold onto it and play it later as an action?

If a player plays a disease immediately from his/her opening hand, should he/she draw until a hand four is replenished?

Another way this could be played, to avoid the situation, would be to shuffle in the diseases after dealing cards to players.

I misspoke earlier! Dutch (heroesbane) is entirely correct - the diseases should be dealt in after the cards are dealt. (Or if that's too much effort each time, just let everyone discard diseases and redraw, then shuffle the discarded diseases back into the deck.)
