Hello!

I'm searching for a wargame that includes a hex based map representing a plain with the hability to put hex to form new maps, you know you have a plain, then you can add rivers, hills, cities, roads... So the there are endless options for map making.

Is there anything like that available?

Just remembered it,

Battle cry and it's many derivatives might fit the bill.

There are things like that for miniature wargaming, particularly for Battletech.

Of course, HeroScape is built around the concept.

For ancients, take a look at Commands & Colors: Ancients.

For medieval, try BattleLore (first edition is more medieval-ish) and/or the forthcoming Commands & Colors: Medieval. (Or Samurai Battles, for an Asian flair.)

(And there's Battle Masters, but its WAY OOP.)

I think command and colors series is just what I need, is there any way I can see the contents of each game?

Check the "Community Wiki" information on a game's entry.
