Play proceeds clockwise around the table from the start player.I personally see no reason why players can't reshuffle their seats in order to use certain specialists in the early stage of the first round. They then would of course remain in their positions around the table for the rest of the game.In solo play, this would also allow the player to rearrange the specialists on the tableau before play begins to simulate this-and then play in a fixed sequence, left to right,to simulate clockwise play. Now that's how i play, but am i correct?

We do this in the PBF games we play here on the geek. As long as you keep the same player order throughout the game, I think you are following the rules.

It makes sense to be able to do that, but i was just making sure-thanks for the quick responseAnd again, for solo play,it makes sense to be able to rearrange on the tableu before play, and then play in a fixed sequence, but i'd be happy to hear from other solo players to confirm that sounds right

I've played where every round we can go in any order. We use the color badges to track who has taken their turn. This takes away some of the constraints of turn order, but does allow us to fully maximize the strengths of the roles.

It does "break" the rules, but does feel more like how a fire team would work in real life.
