Hi,

I wonder if someone can help me figure out if I've done something wrong...

I tried to put a die roll on a geeklist item. I wanted a number from 1 to 5, so in the little box marked "roll" I put 5. But then it just gave me a result of "5" with no indication that it had actually generated a random number...

So I suspect that I should have put in "1d5" and I've accidentally just chosen the number 5 rather than rolling a d5 as I intended. Is that what's happened? I checked the wiki guide to die rolls but it didn't help me.

Your whole post is correct, you just selected 5. 1d5 is what you want. 1d5 = (1) = 1
