We're wasting time, and still no major progress has been made to reach or break $20K!

I tried to reach out to The Miniatures Page, but I won't be able to communicate for another two days as a newcomer on that place... Worse yet, it's getting overshadowed by other threads.

And despite FB being the primary source of advertisement for IAFL, it's not been gaining any new backers after we reached $13K! We need a new strategy, and not simply updates, please!

Not to mention, convincing naysayers that this game is NOT a TAL clone, and that no matter what their reservations or preferences are, it's worth backing this title!

It would be good to get more early backers than the usual last minute crowd.

http://www.kicktraq.com/projects/dvgames/israeli-air-force-l...

It should fund.

I corrected some of the text in my starting post, but I need to help come up with a strategy to mobilize a surge of Backers for this endeavor! It's all or nothing, or Kevin Erik Verssen will be in for rough financial sailing...

Also that's not very reassuring. Sorry, but I need a strategy to help get this KS campaign more backers! What do you propose now, David? Since TMP is not working out like it should be... And I'm having trouble convincing people around here to back it.

I'm not very good at marketting or promotions.

One potential market are those that missed the other leader games kick starters that is being offered at a discount bundled with IAFL.

One of the selling points of IAFL is the breadth of conflict 1948 - 2020 that is modelled using a single set of rule mechanics.

What about Twitter and Facebook - neither of which I use much?

Also on BGG I believe are some solo play forums - they may be interested

Perhaps try to encourage other backers to promote the KS amongst their friends and contacts.

I'd like to help - but just too much is happening outside of gaming to do much.

Maybe I'll try to have DVG look into that... Yet they said they'd go for a big push for when there would be 5 days left on the KS. Part of the hold-up is with Operation Opera, but they need to get their act together soon.

Thank you for all the support for IAFL!

If anyone has any ideas to bring in more pledgers, this is the time.

An add on of hostile Bandits and Sites miniatures would be great.

Promote to the other leader game backers that backing IAFL will also include the Skills etc that will upgrade HL, PL etc.

Stretch goal - TAL expansion for Israeli pilots, planes and campaign

Personally I hope skills for HL:CAO, PLD, TAL, and other Leaders won't be funded.

Other Leader games were not designed with thought of skill sets. This may and probably will mess balance in this games unless ... skills were extremely expensive. Similar to HL:Cthulhu, there is A-Bomb and it can be used in any HL:CAO campaign but it is sooooo expensive it is not worth buying.

Personally, I don't foresee those skills making it into HLCAO, PLD and other past Leader titles by the Kickstarter's end. Maybe in another KS for another Flight Leader game, there'll be an expansion kit for those titles that help make those skills integrate properly.

Meanwhile c08mk, have you seen the new 1981 Operation Babylon Campaign yet?
