Whoever draws the traitor is going to give himself away by having to flip thru the rulebook trying to figure out what to do. So need a sheet that everyone can have a copy of.

"Many that live deserve death. And some that die deserve life. Can you give it to them? Then do not be too eager to deal out death in judgement. For even the very wise cannot see all ends."

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo. "So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Insufficient. Player needs some clues as to HOW. Also needs to see accusation rules at least.

My youngest was a traitor when she was six and could work out what to do without the need for a sheet.

This shouldn't be necessary if whoever is teaching the game explains it correctly and thoroughly. It should be expressly laid out when explaining the rules, and it should be said for the benefit of the hidden traitor.

Everyone needs to know the accusation rules, otherwise they won't know how to accuse somebody they suspect is the traitor. All the traitor needs to know to do if they are accused is to admit they are the traitor and flip their Coat of Arms, which tells them what to do from there.

There aren't even any rules for the traitor in the rulebook, other than that they win if the forces of Evil win, and that they can accuse a loyal knight of being the traitor in order to flip a sword to black. That's it. Why is the loyalty card not enough? Until they are revealed they have the exact same abilities as all the other knights, just a secret objective to make them lose. If your players can't figure that out, this may just not be the right game for them.
