We've got our first session tomorrow evening (so no spoilers please), and I was wondering if anyone had a good spotify playlist?
I don't, the player from our playgroup who normally does this sort of thing played Pandemic Legacy with us but skipped out on Seafall. I hope someone has a good reply to this because I'd be interested!
Although I do not have a good playlist already created, we've punched in Pirates of the Caribbean into Pandora and it has worked very well. Occasionally there's a weird miss, but we've had everything from Pirates to Zelda to Indiana Jones crop up and some have been at extremely noteworthy moments, haha!
Cutthroat Island - John Debney (average movie - great score!)
Sea Hawk Captain Blood - Erich Wolfgang Korngold (Errol Flynn movies)
Hook - John Williams (also wrote Stars Wars, Indian Jones music)
Treasure Planet - James Newton Howard
The Musketeer - David Arnold
Shipwrecked - Patrick Doyle
also look at the following composers:
Bernard Herrmann (usually sword and sandal movies like Sinbad genre) Miklos Rozsa - Golden Voyage of Sinbad Elmer Bernstein - The Buccaneer (also wrote Magnificent Seven) Max Steiner - Adventures of Don Juan (music also used in Goonies movie and he wrote Gone With The Wind))
All of these composers and the movies above will provide pretty good "swashbuckling" emotions
