I believe it would be like playing Chess or any dueling two player game solo. Some likes it, some don't

I've played myself on Tabletop Simulator a few times before I ordered a box. It's alright, though you lose a bit by knowing what's coming based on cards in your opponent's hand.

Check out The Solo System. Might just be what you need. It's PnP and received glowing reviews when it was released. I haven't tried it myself yet but planning on it.

My opinion is its a huge waste of time and money to play this solo.

Being a dueling game, no real good option to do it solo. Playing against yourself in this would be, well sad. There's many other actual solo play games out there.

It's not a game I would ever only play solo but solo play has value especially since shops aren't holding events until release at least around me.

Solo has helped me cut some cards I wasn't using.

Anytime you can practice making decisions has value even though you would have more information than normal. (Even more useful if you can be discipline enough to make a play you would have made if you hadn't know about a card on the other side and practice that new situation).

Major League still use hitting off a tee as a tool even though the instinct might be a non moving ball adds little value but it's still a tool for them just like solo play can be a tool here.
