Poll
After creating a game just how much drive do you have to have it produced?
I have it so bad I could taste it!
I am willing to go the distance to get it done
It would be nice to have done but I don't have much hope
Eh, I mean, if there was an easy path to getting it done then yeah, I'd do it
um, none.
I love creating my own games but they really are for just me and my friends
I don't even have an interest in making a game of my own
This question doesn't even make sense...

***Clarification of the POLL QUESTION***
The question is suppose to be worded asking how much are you, the person who made a game, are willing to pursue getting it published. The title and question are extremely incoherent. Sorry.

Is going beyond making your own game becoming your own game? Do I be the game? Am I the game?

For me, this is what happened.

I had an idea for a strategy game, I made a mock up of it then a friend & I play tested it until we thought it might be okay enough to have it produced but then after researching a bit I realized that I had NO DRIVE to go beyond that point....(later I cam to the conclusion that the game sucked anyway).

Have you ever made a game then thought maybe you could you Kick Start it or take it to a big or small company to get it made?

After reading the title I can totally see how it's asking if YOU want to become the game, LOL!

I entered a PNP design contest here and was mostly happy with the product. There is room for more development, and I do believe it's a game others would play especially after it has a bit more polish, but I have no motivation or plans to try and shop it around.

I'm currently prototyping and doing small playtests of a card game that I also have zero plans for, should I ever finish designing it... but I like the idea so much that I just can't get it out of my head. So I just keep working on it an hour or two every week. I haven't gotten around to making WIP thread for it here, but I probably will at some point.
