I read many times each Space Bending thread on this forum, but i still do not understand completely how it works..

Here an example of my last run:

Would someone give me an example of how to use it ?

Thanks in advance.

We also were wondering how to play this card this weekend and came to the following conclusion:

- You can teleport yourself to another location that is within 3 spaces and you must pay the destination movement cost.

In this case, you could use your spell to teleport to the village while only paying 2 movement points.

I think I also read somewhere that you can also hop around for your whole turn. i.e. Teleport to a new location, pay its cost, teleport to a new location, pay its cost and so on until you have no movement points left.

The previous answer is completely wrong. I think you're thinking of a different card?

When you play Space Bending, any spaces that are two hexes apart are treated as adjacent. So, for example, you could play Space Bending with blue mana, March for Move 2, Stamina for Move 2, and move SE-S to the plains for 2 movement points, then SE-NE to the village for 2 movement points.

My bad, I should have read the card more carefully.

From your example, can't you simply move to the village with only 2 movement points?

I mocked up your picture to hopefully make it clear.

The numbers are the total amount of movement points it would cost to move to that space (from your starting position).

Shouldn't that be SE-NE?

Isn't 2 spaces away, 2 hexes away?

So you could hop to the village with 2 movement points?

Edit: Just found this thread, which answer everything about this card:

I'm still not convince on the 2 spaces away.

Consider the following:

0123

0 is 2 spaces away from 3
0 is 1 spaces away from 2
0 is 0 spaces away from 1

In this case, there are no spaces between 0 and 1 which tells you they are adjacent.

No. 0 is 3 spaces away from 3. The adjacent spaces are 1 apart.

Quick follow-up, how does this card interact with the walls from Lost Legion? I suppose it just ignores them, since they're not part of any hex?

Lost Legion Rulebook wrote:
Walls are always between two spaces of the map. It costs you 1 extra Move point when you travel across a wall from a space to an adjacent space using the standard movement rules. You get no discount for this (even if an effect reduces the cost of all terrains for you). However, this Move cost is ignored by effects that allow you to move directly (Underground Travel, Wings of Wind, Druidic Staff, Flight, Temporal Portal etc.) and also when the Space Bending effect is active.
