This is a sloth. It accurately represents my style of life.
I often have the situation that no matter how I'd distribute my dice, I would lose.
9 killed zombies, 5 living zombies, barricade down to 1.
Even assuming I roll all sixes like a god:
Either kill 4 zombies, then the 5th kills me.
Or heal 4 barricade instead, then the 5 zombies kill me.
So I can just surrender at that point. But wait, there's a reward to kill all zombies, that could save me if I managed to kill just one zombie and then I could potentially heal 3 barricade this turn! Sounds like a plan, except that the rewards come AFTER the zombie attack, so it's useless. Bummer.
In general: if (zombiecount - 4) >= barricade, then you lost. Period. Stop playing.
My proposal would be to remove phase 5 and instead have the 10-kill reward kick in immediately.
I believe the symmetry of killing and healing is a real flaw in the game that should be fixed somehow.
