First world problem I know, but where's the Comancheria microbadge? Someone's working on one, right?

I could do one if nobody is working on it. Happy to get back in my box otherwise.

What do you fancy?

A miniature version of the box art? Might not be very eye-catching.
A stylised letter C (lifted from the box art)? Might be a bit boring.
A reduced version of the rancheria display from the board? Might be hard to make out.
Or what about artwork from one of the games' counters? Might be hard for me to track down at this point in time.

Could also try to capture the Comanche flag?

I seem to recall that a number of the games counters take their red and blue colouration from this.

That's a nice idea. I can feel a poll coming on. Any other thoughts?

Here we go. I found some counter art at the GMT website.

Choose which ones you like best (can be more than one). And obviously...try to imagine these reduced to microbadge size.

Without doing any work on these for Steve (smoothing, transparency, etc), just using Photoshop to get them down to 16x16, here's what the choices above might look like as microbadges ...

Quanah Parker is an icon among Comanches people nowadays,

this man is a transition between Comanches and white people coming from Europe.

I like this picture,

Christ from France

My intention is to do Image 2 (the bison) and Image 5 (Quanah Parker) in the next day or two. Might even be this evening if I can sort myself out. That is unless Davey beats me to it. devil

That will give everyone a choice of the two most popular options - which I hope will leave everyone happy.

Perhaps you would consider making a third MB and create the back half of the buffalo (for a 2 badge set)?

I'd be willing to go for it if there is some interest? Would we just have the same mouseover text again?

EDIT:

Here we go. For illustration only.

Although its not very obvious from the above, I'm only using half the pixels on the second badge. The entire right-hand side is empty. I reckon we'll have a tough time getting that one past the microbadge moderators unless you have any thoughts on how we fill the empty space?

Steve - I'd certainly be interested, but have no idea if there's enough interest from the group to warrant your time and effort. Not sure how the right side could be worked to increase moderator approval. I'd be fine with the same mouse over...

Here's a similar concept, though it has more coverage on each side:

Yes, sorry. This might give a better sense of it.

Not sure what could be done that would not clash with the left badge. Perhaps it could be presented (as is) as part 2 of a 2-part MB?
