Hi everybody!

I was asking myself everytime I played Robinson how does really work the health of the characters. Do you consider the arrow as a health point or you literally skip the arrow? If you skip the arrow, you get less health points so the game is harder. What is the "true" rule about that point?

Arrow is the symbol used to show the decrease in morale, and not a health point. You should put health cube only on squares

In first rules of Robinson it was not said directly that You have to "jump" above the arrow marker. But for me the worst was that arrows are the same size, so first time I've looked at player board I was sure it's one of HP area.
Check the new edition rulebook, it's easier to understand the game after reading this one than other editions.

In the rules, it is said :

Getting Wounds - each time you get a Wound,
move your Wound marker one space to
the right on your Character’s life track.

So, I guess arrow are "one space".

When I was learning this game, I watched Ricky Royal's play-through. It was invaluable in clearing up rule ambiguities in the original rule book.

No, the spaces are the empty boxes. There are just some arrows between a few of the spaces.

The rules (at least in the new edition) say to skip over the arrows.

Maybe Your version have empty boxes for health, but I know 3 editions with heart pictures instead of empty boxes and they are same size as arrows. Plus unclear rules in previous rulebooks and we have dispute.
Clearly it's graphic designers mistake.

Yeah, totally mis-remembered on my part. One empty box to start, then hearts for the rest.
