Thanks. I was thinking 25mm would be the largest to work with the map spaces. 1/35 scale is a tad too large, and I was wondering about civilians ...

I just ordered a bunch of minis to use in the game. Here are some links:

Thank you. I ordered several based upon your list. Question though, do we know if all the conspirators were military? I'm assuming the conspirators in the game are factual and I can't recall any of them not being military.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer was a pastor.

How many minis are needed based on the game pieces provided? What are you changing?

Carl Goerdeler and Erich Kordt were also civilians. The two minis from my list who are clearly civilians vaguely reflect their appearance. The pastor figure is meant to serve as Bonhoeffer, as I'm hoping my paint job will tone down some of the ridiculous "English countryside vicar" in that figure while still representing him as a religious man.

There is Hitler and his 5 deputies, plus 9 conspirators (I don't have the Classified expansion).

I'm also planning on having one slightly larger base with three SS Guard figures on it to represent any large gatherings of the "bad guys" on the board, so you don't have all six of them cluttering up a single space:

This thread caused me to pull my copy of Fortune and Glory: The Cliffhanger Game off the shelf, thinking that the Nazi soldier miniatures for that game could work... but alas, no. They're too "soldier looking". I'll definitely be checking out some of the ideas listed above.

Hitler and his 5 deputies are easy to assign to standard minis that look alike, but the conspirators are very tricky. For now, I´m switching just the bad guys. How many people wanting a set of minis are required in order to ask an artist to sculpt something based on the game characters?

My biggest difficulty is finding a 35 mm miniature representing Canaris. It wouldn't necessarily have to be the one Deron used, but I just can't find a suitable Kriegsmarine mini at all! The few that I seem to find are much too warlike holding SMGs etc.

I think I'm just gonna get the Hitler mini and that should be enough. Having all those minis on the board might be a little too much...how is your experience with a that? How do you fit them all in one spot?

I think just Hitler being prominent helps with easily seeing him on the board at all times, the other figurines really don't need to be there, but then again, I guess it would be nice haha.

I plan to put a thin metal base on him and then put a sticker on top so the penalty is easily read as well.
