I have a couple of questions

1) If the common supply of energy become empty for hyper production by the solar and wind facilities What we have to do? write somewhere the energy or not deliver to the players the missinig energy. This second choice seems not coherent with the theme...

2)Do the hunger and disease counters cumulate every turn in any quartier if they are not solved? There could be 8 hunger counters in quarter paying every cycle 2$ to free the action meeple. Is it right?

Hi,

1) As far as I know resources are limited.

2) Hunger and disease tokens don't cumulate. If You don't get rid of them, they block Your Action Markers(meeples), then You remove them from the quarters. In Supplementation Phase new ones appear.

If they don't cumulate how do you explain the

"Each player places the following tokens in their
quarters: 1 oxygen, 1 disease, 2 hunger tokens" page 11

the double hunger tokens added in every supplementation phase?

And how do you explain the page 19 sentence

Each oxygen, disease or hunger token left
in a player’s quarters causes the loss of 3
reputation points.

If they were just 3 it'll be just a little loss after all, but if they cumulate it become an important factor to win.

Thanks in advance

Nicola

Nicola,

I've just reviewed the errata for Krzysztof, so I can only confirm that the resources are limited.

Cheers,
Joe

Nicola, on page 18 the rulebook clearly states:

"After analyzing all the quarters, all oxygen, disease and hunger tokens should be removed from them, except for the last round of the game".

You always put 1 oxygen, 1 disease and 2 hunger tokens at the start of a new cycle. Why 2 hunger tokens? Probably cause it makes sense that more colonists are hungry than sick or without oxygen lol, doesn't really matter.

Regardless of how many tokens you didn't remove during the cycle, you always get the penalty only for 1 action marker (every player if coop or only you if comp.). So, if you leave two hunger tokens you only put 1 action marker in the residential area, and similarly if you leave two disease tokens (sometime events add these tokens) you only put 1 action marker in the infirmary.

Which is the meaning of the following sentence

Each player receives 1 reputation point per
3 energy markers in their possession.

if the energy markers are limited? The first to pick up
the bigger part of energy for turn order reason will have
an advantage despite the fact that someone else in could
produce more than him. There is the further problem that
a player could accumulate them blocking the other players.
Specially in a 4P competitive play.

In my opinion it has no sense.

The limitation should stand just for RTG.

Why there are so many hunger, disease and oxygen tokens ( page 5)
if the players should need just 4 (not cumulating) oxygen, 8 hunger and 4 disease tokens?

It's just to understand better

I guess cause some events increase the number of the tokens?

In regard to the points at the end of the game for the energy markers, I don't think it's really a viable strategy to hold on to them just for those points. Basically every action needs energy, so would you just stop playing cause you don't want to let other players get energy markers?!

Same goes for the regolith markers, as someone else posted in another thread.

Note that if you get a fourth colonist via a birth, you add another hunger token!
