The rule book first states that a fox can move through a row of dogs it then goes to explain the rule and uses the term hunting party instead of dogs which would imply the huntsman as well. So is it row of dogs or a hunting party row? My guess is hunting party.

Hi Joshua!
You are correct in assuming that the huntsman game piece is included under the "row of five" rule. The point of the rule is to prevent the hunting party from lining up their game pieces and creating a stalemate situation, which isn't really fun for anyone. Plus, in that situation I'd rule that the fox wins because the hunting party failed to kill it.

So "the fox can move through a row of hunting party game pieces" is the correct interpretation.

Thanks and happy hunting (or surviving!),
