If you are out of money and want to move a gondola out of the way to make money, can you pay for that gondola movement at the end of your turn? Or do you need to pay immediately?

Never mind, after reading the German rules, I think it's a little clearer that you must pay the cost of moving a gondola immediately.

Yes, you move the boats you want to move and then you must pay for them.

Yes, that's what I get stuck doing. Money can be tight in this game, especaially with a higher player count. I swear they park gondolas on the money spots just to bug me.

It's actually a pretty sound strategy in the game to bog up popular spots.
