This game on a global scale is extremely popular but hasn't really made it big in the west. There are multiple variants that are played in different parts of the world. The rulebook explains all of the various variants and goes through each one in quite a high level of detail.

Essentially the game is comprised of 12 small cups. Pebbles (they are actually polished pebbles and not just cheap pieces of plastic) are placed in each of the cups and the play revolves around taking the pebbles out of the cups and dropping them into the cups as you go around the board. The goal is to capture pebbles so that at the end of the game you have more pebbles than your opponent. A typical game goes for around 30 minutes.

There is a certain degree of skill involved as you are trying to look into the future to work out where the pebbles will end up and which cup you should use to start with each turn.

If you ever get bored with a particular version of the game there are always lots of other ones to choose from.

If you ever damage the box or lose the pebbles an egg carton and some matchsticks almost work as well!

Can be played with 2-4 players.

You should make this into a video review.
