If using Troubadour courtship variant (E3a) player order can matter if a hunter is wooing foreign uncontested immature daughter. If father of this daughter matures her by successful hunt roll before courtship roll, then wooing may succeed. If the father of the daughter matures her after the courtship roll, then wooing is automatically unsuccessful (since the daughter is still immature that time).

If I didn't overlook something, then this is not covered in the rulebook. So how should it be decided which roll is made first?

In some cases player order matters but isn't resolved by A4. These are usually cases where players would like other players to go first. When in doubt, use player order.
