Initially, when I sleeved these cards, the box wouldn't close. If you remove the insert, however, and split the cards into four equal stacks, they fit cleanly in place back in the box. If you want a little more wiggle room, use Mayday sleeves, which are shorter.

Keep the pretty cards pretty, even if you play in a pub! By the way, I checked, and I was able to put all the cards, minus the rules, tokens, and scoring track, in a plastic, Ultra Pro deck box without an atom's-worth of space to spare. That may be an option for gaming on the go.

I used KMC perfect fit sleeves and the lid fits flush even with the insert.

Mac, I think KMC Perfect Fit sleeves may be shorter, but they are also 45.5 microns thick vs. 105 microns for FFG sleeves.
