How is the action on the "Lord of the Tower" supposed to be interpreted?

The card states: "ACTION: You may force an opponent to take one of your randomly chosen Treason cards if the Noble die is a 3."

The placement of the word "random" confuses me. Does the opponent draw a treason card randomly?

Correct. The Treason card given is chosen randomly. You don't get to choose which one.

Rick is correct.

You choose the opponent.
The opponent takes a random card from your treason card stack.
The card taken is kept hidden from other players.

In our gaming group, the player that is giving the treason card away, fans out his or her cards face-down and the targeted player chooses one (without viewing the cards).

That is the same procedure used when playing a card that has a matching colored die that is a zero.
