I really searched this forum and didn't find an answer:
There is a tile in the box which is of similar size with the "1player"-tile, but has just brown terrain on it.
I searched and searched, but didn't catch what this is for?!

sorry to bother if it is answered already somewhere....whistle

The extra tile is just a leftover from production, but doesn't have any in-game use.

You don't bother us at all.
Feel free to ask your questions!

Cheers,
Sebastian

PS: Actually you did ask this question before and had it answered already...

I put it on top of the discarded cards so they don't get mixed up with the deck.

Ooh, this is clever! So far, my standard method of distinction between the two (aside from religiously putting them in the same left-to-right arrangement) has been to keep the discards "less orderly". But I'm liking this meeple except that I'll probably put the token underneath instead of on top for ease of handling. Thanks for the suggestion!

I like this suggestion too, although I'd rather put it beside the deck than on it. I usually put the discard pile beside the drawpile, rotated 90 degrees. But of course, new players still take cards from the wrong pile from time to time.

That is exactly how I put my discard pile. I also tend to do most of the passing out of cards just to make sure that the correct pile is used, and that the cards are dealt in the proper order for when the deck inevitably runs out.
