- N'Gora instead of Shivatas (no ranged weapon that way)
- Heroes start with 4 gems in fatigue (instead of 3)
- against 3 héroes, OL start with 12 gems in available (instead of 3 in fatigue)
- 1 reinforcement zone on the stairs of the Huntress and only 1 not 2 on the badguys' ship.
- ZAPORAVO with 12 PV (not 8) and SKUTHUS with 5 not 3, but no spells.
- All bêlit gards are on her zone.

Fred Henry suggested to add the spell "bite of Set" to Skuthus.

So why do we think this and 'The Clutches of the Picts' had ruinous, unbalancing changes made to the final versions? It seems very strange.

Tigress is 90/10 for OL
Clutches of the Picts is 50/50 at 5 players (4 heroes), and 70/30 for OL at 4 players (3 heroes)

For me, in two plays with meat opponents and three solo (left hand versus right hand) the OL have never gotten close to winning.

Hunting the Tigress... Wow this scenario just sucks. It is VERY unbalanced for the heroes.

I think Skuthus should have a more powerful offensive spell in place of or addition to the crappy one he has.

He should also not be autokilled to bring in the demon. What is more likely, he sacrifices himself or some moronic group of underlings? Allow him to sacrifice one unit with at least one model within one space of him (which technically could be him). That unit has its tile replaced by the outer demon and the demon is placed in a space previously occupied by one of the unit it is replacing. The unit being replaced must have at least one model alive and all of their models are removed along with the tile when they are sacrificed. Now you still have the (improved) offensive strength of Skuthus, he is alive and therefore the heroes are not almost 50% of the way to a wind, and the demon is there to contest with.

I'm just tossing this out there, but how about giving him the Shapechange spell?

What would you recommend for N'Gora for equipment? Mace and a Buckler?

That is a very good question. Just one of many strange decisions on Monolith's part. Assuming it was a decision at all, and not a screw up of someone sending the wrong information to layout. With their track record, either one seems equally likely.

The game itself is so good that hopefully it will survive Monolith's mishandling of so many aspects.

I assume you mean 90/10 against the OL. At least that is what is pretty much shown here:
