The rules say you win when you kill the traitor and monster, but the original rules say monsters can't die. Can this monster be killed, lose movement/might, etc... or can it only be stunned and you can't kill it, only hug it to turn it?

We just played this haunt and had the same problem. Usually the haunts specify that a monster can be killed on at least one side of the rules if it is possible at all. And it doesn't say how many hugs it needs to bring it down. It says that it can be killed in the survival rules but doesn't give any HP in the traitor rules. So 1successfull attack takes it down? Why bother even trying to hug it when 1 successful attack would end it?

I was alone with the head and successfully hugged it and waited for the traitor to do something and she had no rule for what was to happen and neither did we. This seemed to be a hastily written and not proofread/playtested haunt.

Also we hugged the traitor the appropriate number of times and then there was no mention of what to do with the head so we counted my first successful head hug as the win condition.

Played this tonight. We were very unsure on many things. Through discussion and agreement and just the happenstance of the game, we ended up hugging the head 4 times, considered this taking the head out of play, and thus making it impossible for the traitor to win. Not sure if this is the intended outcome, but that's how we played it.

A funny play for sure but mechanically many things were very unclear.
