COIN (Andean Abyss, Cuba Libre,...) vs. PAX (Pax Porfiriana, Pax Pamir, Pax Renaissance) - if you played at least 2 games from each serie, which system (serie) do you prefer?
I see some similarities between them, but I want to more about them (I'm only familiar with the "Pax" serie - because these games are (much) shorter than COIN games)
Thank you!

I see little overlap except they both use cards. Both excellent.

Are you looking for something similar to Pax?

I've seen this recommendation (haven't played it though):

I see the overlap in their attempts to tackle broader subjects within their given topics when compared to other games. I find be more mechanically sophisticated yet narrower in holistic scope. The Pax series feels more epic yet mechanically it is far less refined and has an "all-over-the-place" feel. My group prefers COIN; I love both.
