If the knight is on a tile that has walls but is not adjacent to other tiles (except for the tile from which the knight previously moved), can the knight use the bomb or ancient map to essentially make the cave place a tile down on the other side of the wall that was bombed or walked through? Basically, if the knight (K) is on the "right" tile below, with no connecting tile between her tile and the destination tile (X), can she bomb one of the walls to make a passageway to the destination tile (with the use of the ancient map or simply two uses of the ancient map)?

No. The Bomb/Ancient Map can only be used to access already placed tiles.

Thanks, Kyle!

No to the Ancient Map - That simply allows the Knight to pass through a wall, so there must already be a tile in the destination space for her to enter.

Yes to the Bomb - That removes a wall and creates an open edge, which does prompt placement of a new tile if there wasn't one previously.
