The game is superb but the map is too small.

When will the larger, 2nd edition, map be available?

I don't think so: I'd rather say that the map is perfect because it allows having a "global overview" of the game. Bigger map means dispersion.

Bigger map means the cards aren't so crowded around the edge.

We also did not have any issues with the map as far as I recall. Maybe you could consider making a bigger one yourself?

I agree. The cards overlap on their allocated spaces. This is without sleeving them. Someone at head office made an error! Will wait for next edition.

We feel both the player card mat and the area around the map, where you place the defense cards, was annoying small during play. The player mats should have been twice as big and there needs to be more space between the card placement locations on the map.

The cards overlay each other and makes it very annoying to manage during play. I can easily scan and print larger player mats, but I'm not sure what to do with the mapboard.
