Looks like "N - The Napoleonic Wars" (the Napoleonic version of Don't Tread on Me) will be published at the end of 2016 or January 2017. We're in final development now. I am building a BGG page for the game and will link there from here when it clears the admins!

I am a proud owner of 'Don't Tread on Me' and will be purchasing this title as soon as it's available. I am a big fan of the Napoleonic era, and when combined with the system laid out in 'Don't Tread On Me' it is going to be a winner.

I loved its combat system and was very impressed on how much chrome was packed into the game which gave it the proper "feel" for the period. I will be eagerly awaiting any future pictures, designers notes, etc.

From the photo provided it looks awesome already!

Regards,
Keith Malkowski

Appreciate the vote of confidence. I have submitted an application to start a BGG page on the game, but they are awfully slow about such things so I am still waiting. More pictures and notes will be posted there when it's up. I am meeting the map artist on Friday (he lives here in town) to go over the details. I don't anticipate any map changes from what we already have, but the map will be substantially different in appearance from what's on the White Dog page (that was my home-made playtest map).

And have no fear regarding chrome -- there are tons of it.

Hello,

I too will be ordering once it is ready! Sounds like the perfect game to
play following a session of DTOM

Will there be a mechanism to provide for Napoleon's first exile, return
and climatic final battle?

Thank you,

Tim.

Yes. At the end of the turn you roll for Random Events ("Accidents"). Once the war in Russia has been fought and Napoleon turns 'old' (the Napoleon-V counter replaces the Napoleon-N counter), it becomes possible to roll the Hundred Days event. This event happens if you roll it on a turn which has ended with firm player control of both Germany and Austria. In that event, the exile to Elba and the return of Napoleon are said to have happened; France loses a ton of random units -- many of his generals defected to the Bourbons -- and the "Napoleon Abdicates" marker creeps closer toward its goal.
