Anybody know why the ship counters are double-sided? The original AH version only had single-sided ship counters.

I don't recall seeing anything in the rules that would explain the reason for the different color scheme on the back.

Patrolling versus Raiding, just as in VITP. This 3rd edition was supposed to link with a new edition of VITP and allow for transfer of ships from the European to Pacific fronts. However, L2 basically went under before the VITP game could be produced. The L2 co-owner mentioned trying to get the VITP game published by Against the Odds, but I've not heard anything on that front for some time now. There might be more news on CSW but I don't hang out there much.
